CANDIDA ALBICANS
Yeast infections occur less frequently in patients treated with antibiotics
if bowel tolerance doses of ascorbic acid are simultaneously used.
Ascorbic acid seems to reduce the systemic toxicity considerably but
does not eliminate the primary infection.
It has been helpful to patients with allergic problems secondary to
candida.
